Tony is a result-driven senior academic with over 20 years of experience in Australian Universities. Tony is currently Professor and Head of Information Technology Programs at Torrens University. Prior to this role, Tony was Associate Professor and Associate/Deputy Head of the School of IT/Engineering at MIT and UTS for over 15 years respectively.

Tony specializes in AI/cybersecurity/smart technologies and has authored numerous University programs and published over 70 high-impact journals and conference articles. Tony’s research has been supported by several research grants including ARC discovery and industry-sponsored projects (approximately $2.1m net worth) in the domains of AI and homeland security.
